Artist’s Note
There are many such scenes along the coast of British Columbia. Some where the tide rushes in like an express train, others where the openings are much larger allowing a more gentle approach.
This scene is from a sketch made just before COVID. I found it and decided to paint it in watercolours. The scene is on the east coast of Vancouver Island BC.2023
