Artist’s Note
This was partly painted also from an old photograph on the way to Whistler BC. I have taken some licence in representing the lake and the rocks, whereas the "house" was way up a hill/mountain.
My wife and I had a wonderful 1700 sq. ft. four storey cabin on Deerhorn Place, a cul-de-sac. The cabin was sheathed in cedar, outside and inside. The lake is called Green Lake, a glacial lake, too cold to swim in!
