Artist’s Note

I was with "Men in Hats" at the Sukhi Dhillon Farm, Richmond and painted this as a sketch initially en plein air, followed by two larger watercolours, one of which is shown here, completed in my studio.
The farm is fascinating, including old farm equipment, barns and other buildings, endless fields, horses, stables and trees. I want to return one day.
