Artist’s Note
This HB pencil drawing is a view of cabins 4 and 5 of 7 that were located along the water's edge.
All 9 drawings are en plein air. I would sit on a log and draw. Each drawings would take between three to four hours.
While I was drawing my wife was wind surfing!
The beach is tranquil and very rocky in places, Beautiful scenery with old limestone rocks which were pitted with indents and holes. The madrone (arbutus) trees mingled with various coniferous trees always formed a backdrop to the cabins.
