Artist’s Note
Autumn is always a wonderful time to paint. The colours are spectacular, and the need to capture them quickly due to ever changing light.
Scotland's autumn is similar to British Columbia except the colours are darker. There are many purples, deep greens and reddish oranges. In contrast. the BC colours are lighter and vibrant in a different way, and less sombre.
