Artist’s Note
A scene of a wall with an opening. The challenge here was to correctly create the colours of the wall and the bougainvillea. There is a water colour named Opera, which is used for the colour of the bougainvillea. The complementary green adds a bit of sparkle to this small painting.
As is usual, I made a small thumbnail coloured sketch first for this workshop painting.
