I painted this in Jardin Botanico Charco del Ingenio which is west of San Miguel and close enough to us to walk, albeit all uphill to get there! However, walking back is a breeze - all downhill.
The garden is huge and very beautiful having a large canyon, many species of cacti and other plants and trees. There is a river and a large lake which one can walk around and admire the wildlife as the spectacular landscape of colour.
