Artist’s Note
The river near Catemaco is usually a very distinctive light cyan blue. When we were on the river the colour was more brownish due to runoff. I saw a photograph which showed the river in its beautiful colour, so from photographs I changed the colour brown to brilliant light blue to capture the essence of the river.
The falls here are also incredible
