Artist’s Note

Collection of Patricia Bell
The Parroquia is an often painted and photographed subject, but more usually from el Jardin which is the main square in el Centro (the centre). El Jardin is called the "Living Room of San Miguel" because people congregate there and enjoy people watching, reading, communicating, eating and somewhere to be if you don't have enough room at home for the family!
Calle Aldama runs downhill and turns abruptly at the end, The orange wall with it's fauna on top is an attractive subject in itself
