Down to Chesterman Beach, Tofino.

Artist’s Note

I painted this watercolour from a small approach road adjacent to Chesterman Beach, Wickaninnish Inn. I was intrigued by the rock formation and how to capture the sense of it with the shrubbery and colour. In particular to capture the shadows and light filtering through the trees.
