Artist’s Note
We were sitting outside our cliff cabin at Yellow Point when I decided to paint this wonderful sunset. I took a photograph and finished the acrylic later since it got dark very quickly
The colours are real in the sense that the sea was a rich blue and the reflections on the water were a beautiful deep yellow. The colours changed rapidly which is why I took the photograph to capture some of the glory of this sunset
